Ermou street is the hard of Athens. This is very good for shopping and visit the most important monuments
-
Excellent location directly across the road from the Metro stop to/from airport in the very centre of the city close to all facilities. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast with wide choice served in a friendly and efficient manner. Very good dinner at a very reasonable price. Very fast free WiFi and communal areas.Very clean and neat and tidy with bright modern furnishings. Good value for money. Ideal for business traveller or visitor on limited budget.
Room was clean and tidy etc but was a little small and the bathroom was very small indeed. Free WiFi should be extended to bedrooms.
-
I liked the staff and there willingness to help immediately and the central location.
-
Excellent location, at 2 minutes walk from stop of X95 bus from airport; around corner from Akropolis. Good room, friendly staff, great breakfeast
-
The location near Parliament and the metro station is excellent
Our first night we were put in a room clearly designed for one person. If you are given room 711 turn it down. The bathroom was incredibly tiny and the room's ventilation system didn't work. We were moved to a second and better room for the next night. Front desk personnel were aloof.
-
Very good location with shopping, eating, metro all close by. helpful and friendly hotel staff.
Room was tiny with poor lighting and a bit dated - I was on business, so it was functional. Wireless in room is chargeable, but I was able to pick up signal from next door hotel which was free!.
-
This hotel is in a central location excellent for visiting all major attractions in the city. The staff were more than helpful especially as there was a general strike on the day that we left. We ate dinner in the restaurant where there was a good choice of dishes and the food was of a high standard.

Location of the hotel is great for anyone who wants to see the city sights: acropolis, Plaka and Monastiraki districts. Close to local transport.
We had booked a double room with 2 beds and when we came to check in, though I had asked them twice, before arrival to ensure we had 2 beds in each room, they were not available. They gave us one room and when we walked in, there was a woman sleeping in the bed! She was shocked and livid, as we were. We had to go back down to reception again to change the room. Thankfully, later on, there was another employee who does understand customer service and offered a free upgrade to a suite for one of the rooms.
-
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Location, with a room overlooking the main pedestrain street. Very good double glazing when it became a little noisy in the early hours of the morning.
squeaky bed.

the good and helpfull staff, you have.

Convenient location
The room we were given was tiny, also I booked a further night a few weeks after the first for our return trip and was charged more than the first booking even though the second was nearer to the end of the season, I didn't complain at the time because I wasn't sure and also I thought we might get a better room but on return we had exactly the same room. I don't feel this engendered my loyalty to the hotel so I will be looking for an alternative next year.
-
The hotel was very central and handy to transport and tourist sites. Breeakfast served was plentiful and lots of variety.
The room was very very small, and the bed very very hard.
-
I have stayed at the Electra on previous occasions and the location is ideal if you want to be in downtown Athens, very convenient for metro and bus transport to airport, as well as taxis. Small rooms, but you do not spend a lot of time in the room. Complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff was very hospitable.
The only negative was that you could not control the temperature in the room. Only the fan, and if you wanted air conditioning or not. Considering this is the hottest August in ten years in Greece, the room was not cool at all.
-
The hotel was just what I needed during my stay and the staff were extremely helpful with even the smallest details.
-
Beautiful lobby, excellent breakfast including fresh squeezed orange juice. Location was about as good as it gets.
Very small room and bathroom but comfortable with great air conditioning and room for unpacking clothes. Although small, the shower was great and the remodeled bathroom was beautiful.
